Day 01
Delhi/Calcutta/Dibrugarh-Roing: Assistance on arrival and drive to
Roing (150 Km 6hrs). Journey is through the exotic tea gardens. Cross the
River Lohit by country made boat. Overnight Roing.
Day 02
Roing: Full day visit Idu (Mishmi) tribal villages like Abango,
Kuruno and Abali. Idu Mishim are known for maintaining an admirable sense of
social bonding and unity among its members through their characteristic
socio-religious rituals in daily life, yet providing the individual adequate
freedom to integrate aspects of material progress in their life-style.
Evening Idu (Mishmi) and Adi (Padam) tribal dance. Overnight Roing.
Day
03
Roing-Pasighat: Morning drive and then cross-river Dibang and Siang
to reach Pasighat (150km 7hrs, roads are open only from December till
February). During rest of the year one has to go to Pasighat via Dibrugarh
12hrs). Evening visit Rani village to see Adi (Pasis) tribe. Overnight
Pasighat.
Day 04
Pasighat-Along: Am Drive (105Kms 5hrs). Enroute visit Adi minyong
tribal villages like Panging, Panging one of the largest Adi Minyong tribe
village with more then five hundred house, women of the village weaving
their own cloths. Pm visit Tribal Handicraft Center and later free at local
market. Overnight Along.
Day 05
Along: Full day exploration of
Kabu and Karjing villages encounter with Adi (Gallong) Tribes. Kabu village
is just on the bank of river of Yomgo/Syom and on river Yomgo there is
hanging bridge made of cane and bamboo. Evening free at one of the largest
Gallong tribal village called Darka village which has more the 1500 houses
made of bamboo and plam. Overnight Hotel.
Day 06
Along-Daparijo: Am drive (164kms 8hrs). Enroute visit Adi (Gallong)
Tribal villages like Bam, Tribin, Tapi etc. Houses in these villages are
artistically built on the hill slop without using nails but only of bamboo
and cane. Evening free at Damporijo to see Tagin tribe, Tagin have almost
same tradition and custom but differ in their language. O/n Inspection
Bunglow or Damporijo.

07
Daparijo-Ziro: Am Drive (160kms 8hrs). Enroute visit Hillmiri and
Nishi tribal villages Mori, Tamin, Raga etc.The economic and social life of
the Hill Miri is similar to that of the Nishi and the distinction between
the two tribes is arbitrary. There are, of course, certain regional
differences. For example, the Hill Miri houses have only three to four
hearths, their head dress are more elaborate, their women are segregated
during menstruation and they claim a closer associates with the Miris of the
Plains. Overnight Ziro.
Day 08
Ziro (1560m): is a plateau surrounded by Apatani tribal villages,
like Hong-Dibbo-Hija-Bulla-Hari etc. The uniqueness of Apatani tribe is
tooting on women face and its nose plug. You may visit museum, emporium and
local market. Apatani, like other tribes also believe in sun and the moon as
a god and have traditional altar in there home made up of Bamboo and Cane.
Overnight Ziro.
Day 09
Ziro-Itanagar: Morning drive to Itanagar (148 Kms 7hrs). Enroute
visit Nishi tribal villages like Joiram, Yazali, Doimukh etc. Evening visit
Buddhist Monastery, local market and museum known as Jawaharlal Nehru
Museum, time spent here can really acquaint you with the culture and
tradition of this region. All prototype of the bamboo and cane architecture
of dwelling of different tribes and apparel, design and functional tools and
others handicrafts are display here. Overnight Itanagar.
Day 10
Itanagar-Tezpur: Drive to Tezpur. Afternoon free. Overnight at
Hotel.
Day 11
Tezpur-Guwahati: Morning drive to Guwahati (190km 5hrs) to connect
flight. Tour ends
